- "Equipment" means the machinery and plant you hire from GGT Ltd.
- "Contract" refers to the agreement between GGT Ltd and you for hiring the Equipment.
2. Hire Period
- The hire period begins when we deliver or you collect the Equipment.
- The hire period ends when you return the Equipment or we collect it.
- If you need more time, you must agree on an extension in advance, which may incur extra charges.
3. Hire Rates and Charges
- We base hire charges on the daily rates we have specified, plus VAT.
- You must make the payment at the start of the hire period unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- If you keep the Equipment longer than agreed, we will charge additional fees.
- If you use any attachments, we will apply extra charges based on our specified rates.
4. Use of Equipment
- You must operate the Equipment safely and responsibly at all times.
- Only qualified and trained operators should use the Equipment.
- You are responsible for ensuring the Equipment is used according to its intended purpose and within its operating limits.
5. Delivery and Collection
- We will deliver the Equipment to your site, or you can arrange to collect it.
- Delivery and collection charges may apply, depending on your location.
- You are responsible for the Equipment from the moment it is delivered until we collect it.
6. Maintenance and Repairs
- You must perform routine checks, including oil, fuel, and coolant levels, while using the Equipment.
- Report any defects or breakdowns to us immediately.
- We will handle repairs or provide a replacement if the Equipment is faulty due to no fault of yours.
7. Liability and Insurance
- You are responsible for the Equipment’s safekeeping and for any damage caused during the hire period.
- You must have insurance coverage for damage, loss, or theft of the Equipment. We may request to inspect your insurance documents.
- GGT Ltd is not liable for any personal injury, property damage, or financial loss that occurs during your use of the Equipment.
8. Termination of Contract
- We reserve the right to terminate the hire contract immediately if you fail to comply with these terms.
- You can terminate the contract by giving us written notice. Early termination fees may apply.
9. Damage and Loss
- You are responsible for any damage to or loss of the Equipment, except for normal wear and tear.

- If we find that you are using the Equipment unsafely, we may terminate the hire contract immediately.

- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
