Planting for Halton Borough Council
As an integral part of the Big Halton Forest project, we delight in highlighting our pivotal role in this transformative initiative. We are thrilled to share our involvement and commitment to the project’s success. Collaborating closely with Halton Borough Council, we proudly unveil our ambitious plans. These plans encompass the cultivation of over 6000 new trees across the Halton borough. Furthermore, in collaboration with Halton Borough Council, our dedicated team has already planted thousands of trees on this significant site.
As the project advances, we diligently oversee and meticulously document every aspect of our work. We ensure maximum efficiency and safety on-site through this comprehensive approach.
Our commitment to this ambitious undertaking extends beyond tree planting. Additionally, we actively explore opportunities to enhance biodiversity, improve local waterways, and promote sustainability across the North West. Furthermore, we collaborate with local social housing providers, schools, and other organizations to extend the benefits of tree planting to more electoral wards.
In the coming year, we will focus on securing additional external funding for the project. We plan major planting during the winter months of 2023/2024. We forge partnerships with local social housing providers, schools, and other organizations across the borough who share our vision of a greener future.
Together, let’s unite and make a lasting impact by nurturing our environment, one tree at a time.
